ADVENT CALENDAR BLOG HOP

Hey everyone!!! Are you ready? Are you excited? I am, I canNOT wait  to see what everyone came up with. If Nicole at http://primpedinpaper.wordpress.com/ sent you then you are in the right place. What are the Christmas/Winter holidays without an advent calendar to count down the days!!!???!!!

Here is my project for this AMAZING hop. Thank you so much RUTHIE for setting all of this up you are AMAZING and I'm so honored to be a part of this hop.

 Here's a list of What was used:
Cricut- George and Basic Shapes (center circle)
Ink- Versa Mark, Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Vintage Photo
Embellishments- Brads from http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/ (Love that store)
Stamps-I used a very old number set that I've had forever
Tools- 1/18th hole punch, stampin up scallop circle punch
Paper- My Minds Eye Christmas pack, that I LOVE.
Adhesive-ATG and liquid glue

  2. Wow, wow, wow! So pretty, lacy and feminine! I love the soft, victorianesque(not sure if that is a word) look. I love Winter Wonderland, it is appropriate in Vermont for more than just the holidays, it seems to snow here 6 months of the year!

    Picking a favorite Christmas song is really hard, but I would probably pick "Joseph's Lullaby" by MercyMe... but I like Montgomery Gentry's "Merry Christmas from the Family", it helps me not feel so bad about my crazy family. Ha!

  49. Absolutely breathtaking advent calendar! Love how you used something (that I assume) was already in your home to create something beautiful for the holidays :)

    As for my favorite holiday song...."Crabs for Christmas" (yes, I can hear you all laughing). My family lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and this song is ALWAYS played there given the location :) It is a funny song and one that always reminds me of my family!

  73. This is such a great idea. I made a advent calendar for my granddaughter some time ago using 1" square boxes and filled them with little toys when she was young and now that she is 15 I fill it mostly with money. Thanks for a great project and your talent. I love Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

    Jingle Bell Rock is my all time favorite Christmas song! You can really get to grooving and trimming the tree with this song a playin! (just dont ask what the tree looks like when we are done!)
