Inking it Up Crazy

Hey everyone! How is your Wednesday? I'm excited about today I'm hoping to do a video and a feature later so keep checking back.

This time around the wonderful and talented Kassidy has asked the DT for something with the theme "Thanks to you". Please go over and see what the other wonderful designers made for your viewing inspiration.

I hope she isn't looking but my mommy always makes THE BEST pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and so this is for her! You know I never realized how difficult it is to be a mom until I became one! Things that make you go HUM. This card is just super simple because I wanted to really focus on the pie. I know it takes her hours in the kitchen preparing so...

Here's a list of What was used:
Cricut- Smiley Cards Cartridge (UH OH I think I have a new favorite) and can you believe I didn't have any of the 6 free ones so now I have 6 new carts to play with super excited!
Ink- Tea Dye from Tim Holtz
Embellishments- brads in very vanilla from Stampin Up, ribbon in Old Olive from Stampin Up
Stamps- Kind Thanks from Stampin Up
Paper- Stampin up very vanilla, only orange, and a green I cant remember the name. I also used kraft from Hobby Lobby for the base.
Adhesive- pop dots, ATG
P.S. Today is THE LAST day to enter in the blog hop found Here

Thanks for looking everyone. I hope you are having a great day.

And...if you've used the new smiley cards will you post it below?!? I'd love to share the inspiration. Who knows there may even be a little somethin somethin to one lucky person.

  8. Love the new Smiley Cards. While I love everyone of the cards that were shown on The Pink Stampers Blog, I just always have to do things differently. I think they are the cutest little "peoples" I've ever seen. Thanks for giving us a chance to share how much we love them.
Loved your idea about using the box for taking pie home. I didn't get to make the cute outside, but I had made tons of those when I first purchased Tags, Bags, ... and then left them flat until I needed them. So we had "to go" boxes and just lined with parchment. And my daughter didn't think she was prepared for "the take home" that we were all expecting. Anyway; blah, blah, Mommy to the rescue once again. Silly, but happy; its a good way to be!
