Cooking With Cricut #24

Hey everyone! And welcome to another fabulous challenge from Cooking With Cricut. We always get to play with such fun ideas I just love it!!!!!

Challenge #24 Theme -April Showers....Project with rain or water as focus.

For this fabulous project I decided to do a bookmark. Y'all know how much I love to read so I thought a bookmark would be fitting.

I had to show you the texture of the bottom because I just LUB it!

Cricut- Indie Art

Ink- Blue from stampin up

Embellishments- thread

Stamps- Country Living (Pink By Design), Fly Away With Me January 2011 (Pink By Design)

Tools- I used four different edge punches ( scallop edges both Stampin up, note tab and swirly EK Success)

Paper- All the paper is from my stash

Adhesive- atg

Cooking With Cricut Challenge #16 Theme - Hearts and flowers

HEY Y'ALL!!! Today is a fabulous day don't cha think?!?

Time for another challenge over at Cooking with Cricut! Melin our AMAZING coordinator has a fabulous challenge for us this week. Hearts and flowers. I read hearts or flowers hence the reason there are no flowers on here. SORRY y'all!. I just looked you all in the eyes and said that sincerely! Okay so onto my post for today...

My husband is a pretty big poker fan, and he says he is a "Chip Magnet" PLEAZZZZZE. LOL ANNNYWAYYYY! That was my inspiration for this little gem.

Such a gorgeous card. I have trouble making manly cards; I think this one is manly enough, although my love would see the scallops and think girly. Those words, written by disciple Paul during his travels in letters back to the Corinthians, deliver the message of what he felt had discovered was the most important thing of all....Love. Here's a list of What was used:

Cricut- Indie Art (I'm lovin' this cart too btw)

Ink- black was used to distress the edges of the symbols and white was used to distress the black

Embellishments- I used black gems from irock

Paper- The red is real red from stampin up and the white is very vanilla the black is from Hobby Lobby ( AND because of it I just placed a Stampin Up order for some basic black paper lol)

Adhesive- atg and liquid adhesive

So Many Mini Albums Blog HOP

I am super excited about today!!! Mary has set up a fabulous line up of individuals who have worked their hearts out to show you all some AMAZING mini albums!!! I LOVE this idea. And this may very well be my favorite project...to date. The minute I was asked I knew exactly what I wanted to create, a gift for my hubby for Christmas. He loves my scrapbooks, he's sentimental like that. But don't tell him I told you shhhh. lol

Okay so brace yourself because this is going to be VERY picture heavy!!!

Here is a close up of the bingo card. Hubby is 39! Woow movin up there eh. lol

This is just to show how thick the book ended up being with all the dimensions.

Every page has bling on it. This has a book inside a book for the kids to write to dad on.

(I have to wait because if I tell them now they will spoil the surprise)
