Yup you read the title right! LOL I LOVE jewelry! Who doesn't right?!?!?!
Well this week when I was playing around with the ADORABLE new Paper Piecing by Nikki file I discovered...there is an adorable print and cut spider web. YUP I kinda love Halloween. Its 2 days away from my birthday so I just adore it!!!! Anyway I decided to make some earrings.
Let me show you what I did.
First I printed out the spider web onto shrink a dinks.
You can use an electronic cutter and cut out your image but I ended up just using scissors.
Then using my crop-a-dile I punched a hole into one of the web openings.
voila
Then using my heat gun I shrank it.
See this is the view of one shrunk and one pre-shrunk. (Not proper English; but I'm okay with it)
Then using jewelry tools and a jump ring I made earrings.
I also threw together a quick card using the pumpkin cut file from this same set.
I loved these earrings sooo much I had to wear them today! People were looking at me funny because...it's not Halloween lol. Its okay I still love them!!!
Thank you all so much for stopping by!!!!!
Wow I love this myself. I so need to try this. Love Love it. TFS AJ-

So cute Raven!!!! I still haven't broken out my shrinky dink papers! Every time you make something with them, I tell myself that I am going to get my shrinky dink craft on... but alas, I never do. :( I just ordered a new printer, so maybe that will be the first thing I make with it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove ya girlie!

ReplyDeleteThis might sound like a dumb question but do you just print this from your regular printer onto shrink dink product or do you transfer it somehow? Also if I have a cricut can i cut something with paper and then attach it to shrink dinks plastic? I so want to make cute earrings!
