Tacky Tuesday #1

Ruthie and Theresa crack me up! Seriously they are always making me laugh. I am soooo excited because I have been asked to be a part of Ruthie and Theresa's new Tacky Tuesday's challenge! I love this idea anything to get me to use my carts and be silly I'm in! LOL

Okay so here's the deal:
The Tacky Tuesday's Challenge will be posted on the third Tuesday of each month. They will choose a "Tacky" cut from a Cricut cart and the challenge will be to:

Make a card that includes the chosen cut and a play on words.

The challenge will last for two weeks and then we will choose a winner via random.org. The winner will receive a small gift and a button that they can proudly display on their blog!

The main page for the group is on Facebook. All you have to do is log into Facebook and type in "Tacky Tuesday's Challenge" and the group will come up, then all you have to do is join! It's that simple!

Note: You do not have to have a blog to participate, all you have to do is become a member of the group on Facebook and post a photo of the card that you made! If you do have a blog and want to link back to it, that is fine too!

So here is the gig for Challenge #1.
You have to make something with the lettuce cut from Freshly Picked it is on page #77 at the very end of the booklet.

Here is my take.

Here is a quick video showing you how I messed up and then how I fixed it!

Tacky or what?!? I LOVE IT!!!!!

Here's a list of What was used:

Cricut- Freshly Picked, Sweethearts
Ink- Tea Dye from Tim Holtz
Embellishments- Buttons from my stash

Tools- Polka dot punch from Ek Success, Label Maker
Paper- Stampin up, white is from HL, Kraft from HL
Adhesive- ATG, dimensionals

One other thing I forgot to mention the winner of the Jingle Jangle blog hop. Random.org picked

SO pretty & clever girlie... My favorite Christmas memory is when our oldest son ( who is now in college) swore up & down at the age of 5, that he saw Santa Claus out front & even had the proof! He showed us some dog prints in the snow & was so happy the entire day!
Thanks for joining the hop, love this...
Warm Huggs,
Gale The Happy Stamper :)
Which is actually really funny because she was the one hosting the hop, I've never had the pleasure of meeting Gale before but her blog is amazing you all should check it out. Gale please send me your address within 7 business days to claim your prize.
