HEY BEAUTIFUL CRAFTERS!!!! Thank you so much for joining us on this beautiful Black Friday and the Celebrate Christmas Blog Hop! If you just got here from Cassandra's blog then you are in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog you'll want to start at the beginning over at Kristi's AMAZING BLOG!!!!
So, are you out shopping today or crafting? I'm going to do BOTH, I think. I'm debating shopping in this madness! ;) Be safe out there and have fun!
The peachy family (old and new) have come together again to bring you a super fun blog hop. ECK I love these!
So let me show you what happened...
I was working on a totally different peachy project for this hop. More like an advent calendar gone wrong...more on that later. So, I look over and hanging in my black hole crafty closet is this...
And I think to myself I'll use that someday! I always do that, save things for an unthinkable amount of time because well "some day I will alter that". Bottom line, it only cost me a whopping $1.00 at the dollar tree! HUMMM use it? I think "yes". So this is the beginning of my projji. Then I look in the same black hole I mean "Closet" and I find pretty white fabric. So I cut that into strips about 3" each and started wrapping.
I initially started with push pins but thought a straight pin would probably be better and so I switched over to those. No pics. ;)
Now time to embellish my wreath...
I cut out all of my cutie pie elves and the merry Christmas sentiment with the Cricut Jolly Holiday cart. But the elves were "OFF" something looks weird right? It's because their heads just end and the red and green from their hats takes over. Not cute! So I took out some liquid applique and heat set it giving them this really cool dimension! You can click on any of the pictures to make them bigger. Well, I needed just one more special piece and I found that over at Paper Piercing By Nikki in the cutie pie Santa. You can find her on the links below.
Whadda think? Came out kinda cute huh? I super doper love it! And seriously the faces really make the entire project. SCHWEET!!!
What was used:
Peachy Keen Faces~ In The Garden
Paper~ Stampin' Up! Seasons of Style
SVG~ Happy Santa
Cricut~ Jolly Holiday (the 2 elves)
Here is some more info. on the blog hop and if you'd rather just jump to the next person click the "Celebrate Christmas" button right under this statement. ;) Happy Hopping.
PRIZE:
Peachy Keen Stamps will be providing an amazing Christmas stamp bundle to one lucky winner. To be entered to win, you will need to leave a comment on each blog post. There will be 1 winner chosen to receive the Christmas bundle with a retail value of $150!!! WHAT? That is pretty awesome so get to commenting. ;)
