Flaunt it Fridays #4

WELL WELL HEY THERE!!

HACKY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!

I hope you all are safe and warm and safe lol. What do you have planed for tonight? My wish for everyone is that 2011 is the best year EVER! I'm going to do everything in my power to make that so on my end.
Please be safe and HACKY NEW YEAR soon lol!!

ALSO, it's another Flaunt if Fridays. WOOT WOOT. With that said that means another wonderful variety of projects from the design team. Please go on over and check out what all of the lovely ladies have in store for you!

For today's project I decided to make a mini bulletin board. I took a piece of cork board which measures 6x6 and covered it with a piece of scrap fabric. I stapled it on the backside to make sure the fabric stuck in place. Then I got some black ribbon from my stash and began making a pattern. I have to warn you its not symmetrical, at all lol. Yeah I have learned from my mistake and if I ever make another one in the future it will look right lol. Then I cut out the martini glass and the olive using the From My Kitchen cartridge. I really love that cart. The sentiment Olives was cut with the Gypsy Font cartridge. Also this is going to be my last project for Flaunt it Fridays but please keep checking back with them as they will be having a brand new design team with tons of new awesome talent very soon! ;)

Also, I have some big announcements coming in the new year so keep watching out for that.
I hope you all like my project, I think its uber cute! Thank you all so much for stoppin by!!!

Bitten By The Bug 2

I think this may be one of my new favorite challenge blogs. Okay its not new per say but it is new for me. So here is a link to Bitten By the Bug 2 Go and check them out when you get some free time. Here is a card that I made for the challenge. I stuck with Christmas colors because I feel a bit in a panic seeing as though I haven't made many Christmas cards this year.

I'm breaking away a tad from my normal style as I'd like to try out other styles. Please let me know what you think.
Here's a list of What was used:

stamps- From My Kitchen Stampin Up Stamp set
Extras- Tim Holtz embossing folder (these things are awesome, the image comes out so crisp)
Paper- SU-Ruby Red, Very Vanilla, DCWV-the glitter paper

Here is another card that I made because I loved the apron cut so much. I've never used it. So I thought I would throw another quick card together.

Stamp Club

Hi everyone! How was your weekend. My weekend was fabulous. I have the house all in order for back to school. I still want to get an awesome Chore Chart made and I was holding out to get the Lite Chore Chart cart but I decided I can use what I have so stay tuned for that sometime this week.
It was that time again yesterday as we had stamp club and made some really fun stuff. Some of the ladies had never used a cricut before so that was a lot of fun. Here are the projects that I made... (Everyones projects used the same colors but they were completely different. Here are my sisters projects)
A card using Stretch Your Imagination, My Pink Stamper Stamps, and Peachy Keen Stamps

Close up of the card.

And a layout using Stretch Your Imagination and From My Kitchen. My baby girl is starting Kinder this year and they are having a meet the class BBQ on Wed so I made this for her.

I hope everyone is having a great week. :)

A peachy good time

ATTENTION: No animals were harmed in the making of this layout!
Yeah!!! I just learned how to take pictures of my scrapbook pages woot woot lol.
Okay so my mom just let me borrow her "From My Kitchen" cartridge and um I'm loving it! I think I'm going to have to get this one asap. Super cute! So I LOVE LOVE LOVE Peachy keen Stamps and they have an awesome challenge yet again at Peachy Keen Challenge blog I love what the design team made (so much inspiration). Here is my take. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this challenge.

So...does anyone believe in the power of positive thinking? This layout is my idea of that. We have 4 beautiful kids and we don't really go on vacations anymore; okay just not adult vacations. And I love San Diego so that is why there are no pictures we haven't been there since I started taking pictures and that has been over 10 years wow I'm getting old. Well I hope to go soon. I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.

Cricut & From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge.

All of the paper is Stampin' Up! The grey from the plate and silver ware is glittery (that's my bling) Glimmer mist. I love it! But I couldn't get a good picture of it unfortunately.
