Peachy Challenge 36

OHHHH I just LOVE a good challenge. Who doesn't love candles? I do. My mom was one to always have candles in the house and I've kinda done the same. Although I don't always light them (having little ones and candles kinda freaks me out) but I love having them around! They are so soothing dontcha think?!?!

So when Dobea told us our challenge this week was to create a 3D project using candles I was so excited! I LOVE home decor type of projects. And this is one that will be around for a while in our house!

Without further ado...

(You are welcome to click on the photo to enlarge the image.)

Here's a list of What was used:
Cameo- SVG's from September's SOTM (for those of you who don't read my blog too often I have pretty bad carpal tunnel and these little svg's are AMAZING because I can just cut them with my machine and then stamp right in the middle! LOVE)
Ink- Vintage photo, spiced marmalade, peeled paint, walnut stain (Tim Holtz)
Embellishments- Stickles in the respective colors as the ink. ;) Ribbon from previous SOTM peachy picks packs. :D.
Stamps- PKSC-09 Peachy Keen Stamps Club Recurring Billing
Tools- 1/16th hole punch
Paper- It all started as basic white paper.
Adhesive- hot glue gun. I'm not sure how this thing is going to fair when it starts to melt but that's the joy of knowledge yeah! ;)

I'm linking this over at Tatertots and Jello.

Thank you all so much for stopping by. Please go over and play along with us this week and don't forget to see the super fun projects my design team sisters created for your viewing pleasure. ;)

Peachy keen Stamps September Sneak Peek

Oops! I'm kinda late. Lemme esplain... the ever amazing blogger just didn't post when it was suppose to. I'm so sorry y'all!!!

Peachy LOVE!!!! Hey y'all I am SOOOOO excited to share with you all today this amazingly awesome fun project using the beautiful and super creative new Peachy keen September SOTM! Oh I just love this release. As some of you may know Halloween is my favorite holiday so...yeah I just love this release! here it is...

My first Peachy project!

Okay so there are some do's and donts I've learned while doing this project.

1. Do NOT laminate every piece. I thought I was being super genius by laminating it, I thought "oh yes this will keep it nice and clean unobstructed from little finger prints and dark marks. UM NO now it is WAYYY too heavy but it still kind of worked out okay. ;)

2. If you are going to use your label maker and then your laminator to make the menu items DO NOT put your laminator higher than 3M. IT WILL BURN YOUR PAPER. lol Although for a Halloween menu board I have to admit I think it looks pretty cool!

3. HAVE FUN! I'm very fickle. I change my mind all the time and I cant stand things being the same all the time. So I knew having a different theme for each month would work perfectly in our home. I cant wait to make some more of these.

Here are some super fun ideas that I had the pleasure of seeing on Pinterest. They all inspired this creation...

Please be sure to head on over and see what my DT sisters created for your viewing pleasure! Absolutely amazing stuff!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!! ;) Don't forget there is going to be some awesome challenges at our release party this week. GO HERE!!!

Happy Birthday Sheriff

Hooowwwdddyyyy!!!!
How are you today? Are you ready for the kiddos to go back to school or have they already? We have our meet the teachers this week woot woot!!! Super excited to meet our teachers!

I wanted to jump online and share a fun project I made for a birthday party friend a few days ago. I have been so busy with the kiddos I haven't really crafted much and my craft room is really missing me; or is that the other way around. ;) Either way I hope to get back to crafting full-time next week!!!

Have you seen the adorableness that is Alota Rubber Stamps? I LOVE this little sheriff.

With the boots and the vest I was just playing around with pattern paper. The coloring was all done with copics. All of the paper is from K&Company Itsy Bitsy Designer Paper boys. :)

Thank you all so much for coming by and leaving me beautiful comments. I hope you are having a beautiful day!!!

Okay I shouldn't be speaking for the entire Crafty community I should only speak for myself and I KNOW I am always behind when it comes to big holidays. Ugh every time I go into a craft store I see something else fabulous that I would like to create so when it comes to cards or decorating my home...well I go for the decorating! Yup that's me!

I just kinda love snowmen! I collect them as a matter of fact. Well kinda. I don't really "collect" anything but I have a pinterest board specifically for snowmen lol. ;)

Shirts a plenty shirts galore

lol. I LOVE Peachy Keen Stamps paired with Echo Park paper. Two amazing companies put together to make something fun. LOVE IT!!!

So when I went into my craft room yesterday I really wanted to make something with stitching on it. I've been itching to sew for some time now. I was telling a friend a while back that I cried the other day because I hadn't sewn in so long. lol I'm such a dork like that. Anyway as it turned out I didn't end up sewing on this project at all but I did make another project coming up with some beautiful stitching! ECK.

Here is a super fun clean and simple card using the beautiful new July Peachy keen stamps SOTM for July! I love this set!!!!

I simply love these shirts! I just had to paper piece them using the beautiful Echo Park Boys Life paper.
And aren't these clothespins the cutest thing ever? They came with this months Paper Kit from Peachy Keen Stamps. The twine is from Maya Road and it was part of May's Paper pack from Peachy Keen if I'm not mistaken. ;)
