Peachy keen Stamps September Sneak Peek

Oops! I'm kinda late. Lemme esplain... the ever amazing blogger just didn't post when it was suppose to. I'm so sorry y'all!!!

Peachy LOVE!!!! Hey y'all I am SOOOOO excited to share with you all today this amazingly awesome fun project using the beautiful and super creative new Peachy keen September SOTM! Oh I just love this release. As some of you may know Halloween is my favorite holiday so...yeah I just love this release! here it is...

My first Peachy project!

Okay so there are some do's and donts I've learned while doing this project.

1. Do NOT laminate every piece. I thought I was being super genius by laminating it, I thought "oh yes this will keep it nice and clean unobstructed from little finger prints and dark marks. UM NO now it is WAYYY too heavy but it still kind of worked out okay. ;)

2. If you are going to use your label maker and then your laminator to make the menu items DO NOT put your laminator higher than 3M. IT WILL BURN YOUR PAPER. lol Although for a Halloween menu board I have to admit I think it looks pretty cool!

3. HAVE FUN! I'm very fickle. I change my mind all the time and I cant stand things being the same all the time. So I knew having a different theme for each month would work perfectly in our home. I cant wait to make some more of these.

Here are some super fun ideas that I had the pleasure of seeing on Pinterest. They all inspired this creation...

Please be sure to head on over and see what my DT sisters created for your viewing pleasure! Absolutely amazing stuff!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!! ;) Don't forget there is going to be some awesome challenges at our release party this week. GO HERE!!!

Alota changes...

Hey everyone! How are you?

I'm doing good, we are all doing pretty good over at my casa. Over the summer we have experienced quite a few changes. Summer is always a great time for change yeah?!?!?!? I think so too.

With change sometimes comes so much excitement too right!?! YES!!!! With that said it is with great excitement and honor that I get to announce I am the newest member of the amazing Alota Rubber Stamps Design team!!!! If you haven't seen their stamps you must run don't walk over and take a look. I have to be honest and tell you my Alota addiction started a few years ago when my sister bought one of their grab bags. I just so happened to be at her house when it came in and it was jam packed full of goodies we went online and bought 4 more grab bags that day lol. Yeah I know addiction level lol.

Here is one of my recent Alota projects. I hope you all like it. Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of the web. ;)

Here's a list of What was used:
Ink- Basic Black (Stampin Up)
Embellishments- liquid pearls, twine
Stamps- Girl With Doll (She is one of my all time favorites), Teeny Tag Greetings Stamp Set
Tools- Spellbinder dies, scalloped punch, sewing machine, distresser
Paper- This & That Graceful

Flip for Piggies

LOL Yeah I have no idea why I posted that as the title either. It sounded good at the time and the more I played it out in my head it just doesn't totally fit. Ah. Too late.

So how are you all on this beautiful day? I kinda love Mondays. Did I tell you?!? Yeah I do! So today I'm going to show you something that I uber love! Have you seen the new adorable paper piecing file by Nikki called Piggin' Out? First let me tell you I had this really cool idea and it came out differently than I planned. I was going to make the hot dog from the file too but I messed it the sizing and it came out sooo much  bigger than the pig. LOL It looked pretty silly. Well lesson learned that's what happens when you aren't paying attention. So I ended up keeping the adorable piggie and making her vault. Can you tell? I hope so lol.

Here's a list of What was used:
Cameo- Piggin out File
Ink- Basic Black (Stampin Up)
Embellishments- Twine (thetwinery.com)
Stamps- Hooray (Jaded Blossom) Miscellaneous Fun
Tools- Crop a dile, standard hole punch, word window punch and fancy label punch (stampin up)
Paper- Dots & Stripes – Candy Shoppe (Echo Park), solid cardstock (Stampin up)

Shirts a plenty shirts galore

lol. I LOVE Peachy Keen Stamps paired with Echo Park paper. Two amazing companies put together to make something fun. LOVE IT!!!

So when I went into my craft room yesterday I really wanted to make something with stitching on it. I've been itching to sew for some time now. I was telling a friend a while back that I cried the other day because I hadn't sewn in so long. lol I'm such a dork like that. Anyway as it turned out I didn't end up sewing on this project at all but I did make another project coming up with some beautiful stitching! ECK.

Here is a super fun clean and simple card using the beautiful new July Peachy keen stamps SOTM for July! I love this set!!!!

I simply love these shirts! I just had to paper piece them using the beautiful Echo Park Boys Life paper.
And aren't these clothespins the cutest thing ever? They came with this months Paper Kit from Peachy Keen Stamps. The twine is from Maya Road and it was part of May's Paper pack from Peachy Keen if I'm not mistaken. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day!!!! Now I'm off to get some reading done! ;)

Market Street Color Challenge and a giveaway

First and foremost I would like to say
Happy Memorial Day
to all those out there who have served our country in some form or fashion
whether you are a parent, sibling, husband, wife, child, friend of one of our AMAZING service men and women. Please take some time today to remember those who have served and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom! My family appreciates you!!!

So, how is your summer going? It just started for us but boy am I glad it is here. I'm one of those moms that just loves the kids being home with me! This summer will be no different. They are getting so big and I cant wait to just hang out and play all day. So with that said that's kinda why I've been mia a bit lately. I had a huge epiphany and realized they wont be babies forever. I want to spend as much time with them as I can before they are too "cool" to hang out with their mom. Lets hope that never happens lol. Wishful thinking I know.

The girls and I did find some time to craft this past weekend though so let me share a project with you!

Market Street Stamps is having a color challenge. It ends in about 14 hours so you had better get on it. ;) These colors are just tooo beautiful and Dobea had an amazing week of fun going on over at her blog last week and I was so blessed to win this stamp. I had to use it. I don't know why I didn't have it before shame on me!!!

Speaking of a week of fun. I ended up with a stamp that I already had...actually when I was going through my stash I realized I have three of this same stamp! Oops. Well Oops for me yayy for you...two people who comment on this post will be randomly selected to win the Compass stamp set! Please be sure to leave a way for me to get in touch with you if you win. ;) Good luck I'll draw the winners next week on Monday.

So I created a quick bookmark for the corner of my pages! All of the paper is from the Echo Parks Hello Summer. It all fit so perfectly with this color challenge. The stamp is from the set called It Takes LOVE. The font on the word LOVE is sooo amazing I just love it! That's pretty much it just a super simple bookmark oh and I used the tutorial from HERE.
