Peachy Challenge 36

OHHHH I just LOVE a good challenge. Who doesn't love candles? I do. My mom was one to always have candles in the house and I've kinda done the same. Although I don't always light them (having little ones and candles kinda freaks me out) but I love having them around! They are so soothing dontcha think?!?!

So when Dobea told us our challenge this week was to create a 3D project using candles I was so excited! I LOVE home decor type of projects. And this is one that will be around for a while in our house!

Without further ado...

(You are welcome to click on the photo to enlarge the image.)

Here's a list of What was used:
Cameo- SVG's from September's SOTM (for those of you who don't read my blog too often I have pretty bad carpal tunnel and these little svg's are AMAZING because I can just cut them with my machine and then stamp right in the middle! LOVE)
Ink- Vintage photo, spiced marmalade, peeled paint, walnut stain (Tim Holtz)
Embellishments- Stickles in the respective colors as the ink. ;) Ribbon from previous SOTM peachy picks packs. :D.
Stamps- PKSC-09 Peachy Keen Stamps Club Recurring Billing
Tools- 1/16th hole punch
Paper- It all started as basic white paper.
Adhesive- hot glue gun. I'm not sure how this thing is going to fair when it starts to melt but that's the joy of knowledge yeah! ;)

I'm linking this over at Tatertots and Jello.

Thank you all so much for stopping by. Please go over and play along with us this week and don't forget to see the super fun projects my design team sisters created for your viewing pleasure. ;)

Scrapalcious USA~Magnolia

Hey everyone! How is this Wednesday going for you? I am really enjoying this new coloring technique I've been playing with. Its coloring with Distress inks. In all actuality you can color with any dye based ink like Stampin up etc. I have loads of those so I've been playing with color the last couple of months! LOVE.

Okay so this week over at the FABULOUS Scrapalicious USA we are asking everyone to use...

Well how simple is that. I hope you all get time to stop over and play with us. We love seeing your projects!!!

Okay here is what I came up with...

I ordered a few Magnolias from Scrapalicious USA the other day and they came in so fast I was blindsided. So here is a project using one of those stamps.

Yeah I know its bright!! But my scraproom was transferred into a six year old room and I have stuff, well its everywhere I'm just going to be honest! lol So I had to take this on my back balcony. Sorry that its so bright! ;)

Here's a list of What was used:
Ink- Tim Holtz Distress ink
Embellishments-
Madrigal Blossom - Maestro Mauve , the ribbon is vintage ribbon a good friend gifted me. ;) Stickles were used on the heart antennae, liquid pearls on the hear ties (You have to click on the picture and enlarge it to see those)
Stamps-
RC10 Honey Tilda
Tools- Big Shot, Spellbinders #S4-259 Deckled Edge Classic Ovals LG
Paper- All of the paper is from my stash. I'm really trying to use up this big giant scraps pile. ;)
Adhesive- ATG, Liquid adhesive, no-sew

Thank you all so much for stopping by!!!!

Scrapalicious USA

Hey Everyone! Today is another fabulous design team day over at Scrapalicious USA. You know what that means??? A new challenge this week yeah.

Here is the challenge...
Use turquoise on your project

How easy is that! So come on over and join us.

OKay so if you have been reading my blog you may know that I have a thing for bookmarks these day! Yup I am totally in love with them. I think I may love the functionality of them. Cards are great and all but well unless you are crafty or artsy you probably just throw them in the trash. That's great and all but um yeah bookmarks don't go into the trash as much ;)

So here it is a project using Turquoise (which just so happens to be my favorite color)

Ink- basic black (stampin up), Broken China, Dusty Concord (Tim Holtz)

Stamps-
Enjoy Today (Market Street Stamps)

Dotted Scallop $7.00

Adhesive- Atg,
01612 3D Permanent Foam Squares 308/Pkg $2.40
