BLACK FRIDAY BLOG HOP

Welcome to Love4Stamps.blogspot.com and the Black Friday Blog Hop!
If you've come from visiting http://www.almabrooksblog.blogspot.com//, you're in the right place! Aren't Alma's projects AMAZING!!!!

If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to http://www.crazyaboutcricut.blogspot.com/ and start at the beginning. Each blog has created a project centered around the shopping or using the colors black and green. (I used black, green and pink) Be sure to visit each blog for inspiration and fun blog candy!

Here is the list in order in case you get lost along the way!

MUAH HAHAHAHA! And you thought I would actually be home posting this???? UM NO! This is a scheduled post if I've ever had a scheduled post!!! I am shopping my little heart out right now hopefully picking up a teal Expression along with ALL of the Cricut Lites my hands can hold. I kid you NOT! And my honey wants a 55' T.V. Um seriously is that necessary? "You know honey if you wait I can get more Cricut cartridges." HEHEHE just kidding I didn't say that but I thought it and then I thought "bad Raven." Okay so...

Here is the project I chose to come up with. Because of all the chaos and shenanigans I like to attempt to  be organized on Black Friday. "ATTEMPT" being the operative word. So this year I made an organizer out of...yup you guessed it paper bags. I have pockets for Santa wish lists and places to keep my receipts in case something doesn't fit or I find it somewhere else cheaper. I also have a section to insert my ads. Walli world price matches, SCORE! Thanks for looking y'all! Let me know what you think.

I have two giveaways for this blog hop so two lucky ducks will win something. The first something is from my AMAZING friend Angelica at Market Street Stamps, she makes THE BEST Stamps. One lucky winner will win the new BFF set pictured below.

Another lucky winner will win a Cricut Dust Cover made by yours truly. Please just tell me in the comments what size Cricut you have.

In order to win you must:
1.) Leave a comment on this post here
2.) Become a follower (This helps so that you can see if you won!!! I will NOT be able to find you so please check back) I've had to redraw a few winner in the last month! :(
Now go on over and check out what the AMAZING Misty has in store for you at

Throwback Thursdays #9 (Picture Heavy)

So, Emma threw up a quick Throwback Thursday Challenge on Wednesday! I have to say I was super excited. We are getting ready for school and that includes getting all of our thank you teacher cards done so that I don't have to think about them too much during the school year. So her challenge was perfect. Either way here is my project for the challenge.

More than likely I will put the teachers name on the front but seeing as thought we dont have meet the teachers until Friday that will have to wait. :)

Here is a list of Here's a list of What was used:
Punches- Cricut, Paisley (Apple cut at 2.5)
Ink- Basic Black from Stampin' Up.
Embellishments-I used some bling from a pack at Michaels, the button is from Making Memories, ribbon is just random from my stash and some white crochet cotton.
stamps- Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Characters
Extras-Report Card from a pack I purchased a while back.
Paper- Stampin Up basic black, Ruby Red(which was my fave before they got rid of it) and certainly celery
Adhesive- tombow and glue dots

And this is what the kids did while I crafted...We had some Halloween face paint in the craft room that was going to waste and probably would have dried up if we didn't use it within the next month so here they are having some fun before school starts up!

HEHEHE I love these kids! Now we're off to watch Area 51. Hope everyone enjoys their last few days of summer!!!!

Throwback Thursday #8

Hey everyone! How are you all? I sure hope you are having a great day. Okay, so Emma over at My Creative Time is having a challenge and it couldn't have come at a better time. She asked us to do a birthday card and use an older cartridge.
Well lucky for me my baby boy (tears) is turning 8 in 4 days! WOOHOO HIM!!!! I am so thankful for my little guy; when he was born he had a rare illness and his little tummy wouldn't work. So after emergency surgery and days and days of hospital trips they figured out what was wrong and fixed him up. Now he is a healthy 7 going on 8 year old. Who...mind you just asked us for an ipod for his birthday. Long gone are the days when he loved Spider man, he is now enamored with The Twilight Saga lol thanks to mom. Either way here is his card! Have a fabulous weekend my blogging buddies.

What was used:
Cricut- Beyond Birthdays, Paisley cricut cartridges
Paper- It was all random paper that was picked up from here and there. But the pattern paper is tindlywinks
white gel pen-Peachy Keen Stamps
Brads- Stampin Up
Black Marker- Martha Stewart
Adhesive- Tombow and pop dots
Also I'm planning on putting a tiny picture of him as a baby in the ipod lol!
